Angie's Bio

Angie Wong is a licensed and registered occupational therapist in the State of Kansas. She has more than 17 years of experience working with infants, children, and teenagers in a broad variety of settings. She has provided Occupational Therapy and handwriting instruction in preschool, elementary, and middle schools (including special education, mainstream classroom, and home settings). She has also worked as an occupational therapist in home health, geriatric, and post-acute care settings.

Angie first developed a fondness for handwriting when she won a school cursive penmanship competition in the 5th Grade! The Butterfinger candy-bar reward was fun, but the satisfaction of successfully learning and creating good penmanship was good for the self-esteem! Little did she know that someday she'd be teaching handwriting.

Now, years later, after watching kids struggle to produce handwriting with ease and confidence, she has a growing passion to help lift the difficulty, and give them a running start to accomplishing further education, greater literacy, and renewed self-confidence! She is currently pursuing certification with Handwriting Without Tears as a handwriting specialist.

Angie lives in Mission, Kansas with her supportive husband, Andy.
